Marine Base Quantico VA Fire and Emergency Services

Does anyone have any information on the Quantico VA Federal Fire Department? Looking for info on what schedule they work, if they have an IAFF local, call volume, and the overall environment of working conditions. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Didint work on the structural side at Quantico, did the ARFF side. They have a good chief and a bunch of good people there. If I am not mistaken they are about the enter their brush fire season. Lost of open training grounds.
The run from 3 stations, with 3 Engines, a Truck and a TeleSquirt. Before I retired they were cross manning the Squad. They also do the HazMat and Water rescue stuff. And plenty of brush rigs.
There is a lot of new construction going up on base and they do a lot of mutual aid to the surrounding counties.
Hope one of the Quantico guys sees this and can provide you more up to date info.
