I am looking for information on pump testing. My department is looking into the cost of building a pump testing site that we can use each year. If anyone has any information or specs on how to build a test site I would appreciate any information. Thanks

City of Rockford has a pump test pit at their academy at Station #6, and Elgin, IL has one at their Station #2. We used Elgin's to learn how to draft in the academy...
If you need contact info for either department, let me know.

IFSI has a nice set up for drafting. It may be worth it to give them a call.

EL-TEE:
I am emailing you plans, specs and pics from the TRADENET series. As soon as I can dig them up, I will email you instructions on how to join TRADENET, which allows you to get all of the training resources they have, and best of all, it's FREE!! I believe they are now up to 10 CDs full of training outlines, topics, powerpoints, etc., etc., etc. There is also a weekly group email where we have the oppertunity to ask our collegues about any fire service topic.
Stand by to receive.
P.S. If anybody else wants this, post your email.

Share the wealth.
Back to pump testing, while looking into building something just use your porta tank.
Remember to document the set up so it will go smoother next year.

I concur with jaybird210's statement about TRADENET -- lots of good info in their 10-CD collection, and in the weekly e-mails too.
