    Default Alas. . . I have resigned

A bit of news for everyone. I have resigned my position with the Monmouth Fire Department to begin a new job with the Barrington Fire Department.

So, in preperation for a EMS protocol test, I will have my nose buried in books, and starting next Monday, I will be a probie all over again. So, no more free time.

If anyone is looking for me, I'm the one in the corner reading

    Wub:
    What's the deal?
You got Lake Warren, Farmland Foods and Gibson Woods. What more could you possibly need?
Oh, yeah; you got Barnstormer's, too.
Spears finally got to you, didn't he?
Come on; you can tell me.
    So; when do you go?

    I didn't do a thing to Shrek!

Shawn is number 5 on our list right now, that is before the oral interviews, so he stands a pretty good chance of getting hired off of this list.

I was thinking about Mileham, but I don't know if he can get away from his walker fast enough to get into his bunkers!

    Pat:
I was too lazy to start a new thread, but to clarify our conversation on Saturday nite: Roger Lunt accepted the chief's job at Taylorville.
I think that he is already there, but will find out for sure.
If I'm not mistaken, that is the third gent from this area that has taken that position: Dale Moore, Jack Reitman and now Roger. Weird, huh?

I believe you are correct about Roger. If I remember correctly he was to start at Taylorville April 1. Taylorville was lucky to find someone like Roger. He will be missed as an instructor in this area.

    BTW...CONGRATS WUB!!
