ON-LINE, SIX-LESSON, FOR CERTIFICATE AND/OR CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT COURSE:Terrorism, Preparedness, and Public Health: An Introduction

These projects are supported under a cooperative agreement from the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) through the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH).

The objective of this course is to provide the public health workforce and community partners (EMS, police, fire, emergency room personnel, etc.)with key fundamental concepts related to public health emergency preparedness.
The course includes objectives, quizzes, final exam, and links for
additional educational resources. The six lessons include:

1. Introduction to Terrorism
2. Epidemiology, Surveillance, Detection, and Identification
3. Biological Agents as Weapons
4. Chemical and Industrial Agents as Weapons
5. Radiological Weapons
6. Community Planning and Public Health Preparedness
