Are there any references for the three types of priming methods I remember for drafting from a static source?
I remember them as follows:
Using the primer
The backflow method, or the venturi method if the primer fails
Any input would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

IFSTA
Though I dont have a copy in front of me right now, I am more than sure that the IFSTA "Fire Department Pumping Apparatus" text will cover all three methods.
"Loyalty Above all Else. Except Honor."

You should not think that the ventury method is in case of primer failure. It is much easier and less work load on the truck. Primer motors are very suseptable to buring out.
