Mt. Pleasant, WI
At about 0900 hrs, Mt. Pleasant Fire was
dispatched to the 1100 blk of Fountain Hills Dr. for a
report of fire in an apartment building that homes
senior citizens. First rig on scene reported a working
fire. Command activated a mabas box. Fire crew's
rescued several elderly resident's from the building.
The fire was brought under control within an hour.
Dept's on scene were;
Racine Fire Bells
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. No
one was injured in the fire. Rehab was also called on
the box alarm.

LOS ANGELES, CA:
GREATER ALARM FIRE:
On Tuesday, June 08, 2004, at 2007 hours (8:07 p.m.), nine companies of Los Angeles Firefighters, three Battalion Command Officer Teams, two LAFD Rescue Ambulances, one Arson Unit and other support personnel under the direction of Assistant Chief Roy Kozaki, responded to a Greater Alarm Structure Fire at 5363 West Santa Monica Boulevard in the Hollywood area. First units on the scene reported a one-story, L-shape, strip mall with heavy smoke showing from one unit. Firefighter using handlines and effective ventilation aggressively attacked the fire confining it to “Z & Z Cell Phones” and extinguished the fire in twenty-five minutes. Two adjacent units sustained moderate damage. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is listed as under investigation. Fire damage is estimated at $225,000. ($150,000 structure and $75,000 contents)
