I have heard from Nashville Human Resource folks that there are 1125 candidates on the " OUTSTANDING " Eligibility Register and that if the 2005 Budget is approved soon ( by June 30th ) that the letters for Job offers will be forthcoming very soon after the Budget approval and a class of Fire Recruits should start the academy by the end of July if all goes well.

I hope this helps some of you who were asking for any info on the NFD ??

Nashville Metro Government just passed the 2005 budget so we should be hearing some news real soon on the lifting of the hiring freeze?? anybody that has any info, please post it for those who are interested.

Does any1 know if nashville fd has a rescue company(heavy/techinical)? ifso how many? i cant find this info anywhere. thanx!!
