Uh huh. Once again being a Paramedic is overlooked and not even mentioned with the other public safety departments. The red-headed, bastard stepchild of public safety.

Then again, I suppose being covered in blood, feces, puke, and other body fluids does detract from the "sexiness."

    Dang straight Firefighters are sexy!!!!!!

Oh, and so are the occasional Paramedics, EMT's and various others in the "caring profession."

    I could be biased...hubby is a DC...

I am a mere Rookie so I guess I have to work on the sexy thing!!

I would never hesitate to trust a Firefighter. I cannot say the same about all the Doctors I have met. I feel that if the firefighter can't help you, he will dang sure find someone who can (help you.)
Of course, that's just MY opinion.......

I know that you didn't write it, it just really ticks me off that EMS is not included in a list like that where police and fire are. I am also ticked that "soldier" is listed but Marine is not (me being a former Marine I DESPISE ever being lumped into an inclusive category that list me or fellow Marines as a soldier. My wife has learned that to tick me off all she has to do is say that there is no difference between a soldier and a Marine.

It just gets my blood a boiling.

Now that we've heard from the women (and yes, i do think that firefighitng is a sexy job...ahh what any woman would give for a strong, brave, guy that comes home smelling like a structure fire ), what do the guys think? Are women firefighters considered sexy too? I know my guy thinks they are... , but what about the rest of you?

My wife has learned that to tick me off all she has to do is say that there is no difference between a soldier and a Marine.
When we want to get the capt (was a Marine) at the station all fired up... we tell him Marines are just, "sailors with guns". Man, that really gets him going! LOL It's all in fun, but what's a 24 hr shift without some agitation.

Are women firefighters considered sexy too?
Good looking women are sexy.... no matter what job they do.

    Job AMERICAN MEN consider sexy-
    Per Womens Health magazine.

(Not so hot) Any occupation - 0.00%
(Good looking) Any occupation - 100%

These numbers don't lie. OK, so I made em up... but it's probably pretty close to right on target.

I guess I lucked out with those results.... I'm both a soldier AND a firefighter.......

However I would never have considered either job as "sexy" though. Hmmm gotta wonder who it was that cooked up the idea of doing such a survey?
