    Fire Captain Dies In Motorcycle Accident
    Victim Loses Control In Curve

    ALEXANDRIA, Ky. -- A captain in a local fire department was killed Friday night in a motorcycle accident.

    Mark Seger, 47, a member of the Bellevue/Dayton Fire Department, crashed his motorcycle at about 7:45 p.m. on state Route 10 at Brookwood Drive in Alexandria, WLWT Eyewitness News 5 reported.

    According to investigators, Seger lost control of the motorcycle while going around a curve. He crossed the center line and crashed head-on into an oncoming car, WLWT reported.

    Seger was pronounced dead at the accident scene. The driver and a passenger in the car were not injured.

    Wow bummer. My former LT had something like that. He was in Emmetsburg attending classes after he was hired as Chief of a nearby town. He decides to buy a Harley down there and propmptly proceeds to wreck it into a telephone pole. He jacked himself up bad. He's still in the hospital last I knew
