As I was BBQing ribs this afternoon I felt a twinge of sorts...a longing perhaps. I felt Tailgating Season sneek one day closer. Do we have any college or pro tailgaters in the house? I tailgate at Steelers and Panthers games and I am sooooooooooooooooo ready for football season. I am one of these nuts that would give up all of summer to fast forward to September. Our crowd has a nice little lot at Timber Court on General Robinson Street in Da 'Burgh. We start early and stay late.
Anyone up for sharing tailgating stories? Where do you go? What do you cook...what do you drink? Legends or lore of your lot? Links to share on the subject?

In our neighbourhood we dont do much "tailgating" but we sure can make Hank Hill proud!

A group of friends once got together and entered a tailgate party contest. We rented a giant portable hot tub and set it up across the street from the stadium at a Big Ten football game. We didn't win first place, but we had a blast and were on every local TV station as well as the front page of the newspaper.
