Apartment Fire in Poland - Pics.

Found this on another board I frequent. Several "amateur" pictures of an apartment fire in Poland. Thought some of you might like to see them.

Looked like a nice job, some nice pixs. Interestng though, they were knocking the fire down from the lawn, the whole time there was what look to be a victim on teh fire escape.

I'm thinking that the outside hose stream was to provide quick protection for the lady on the balcony...maybe not so much to knock it down as much as it was to confine it.

Those were my thoughts from the pictures too.

Also please remember these pictures were taken by an "average joe" and not a Firefighter - so He wouldn't always be looking to catch the same things that we would to tell the story.

Was the guy on the ground using a smooth bore or a fog nozzel on straight stream? Sorry I just had to ask

Only thing I can say is, When you go for a 1,000th post, you do it very well. Thanks for sharing. And Waterboy, I don't know about the nozzle, but the crew arrived in a brown Toyota Corolla with a Code 3 Lightbar............
