Default "So, whadya want me to do about it?"

    "Security"
"Ya Mike, um, the Fire Alarm for the Server Room's is giving us a trouble alarm."
"So, whadya want me to do about it?"
"Um, well I'm kinda thinkin' what to do about an alarm going off would be in Security's SOPs"
"um...the overtemp alarm down here isn't going off."
"Yeah, this isn't the overtemp alarm -- this is the Fire Alarm. It's not in fire alarm though, just trouble."
"So...whadya want me to do about it?
"I'm thinkin' call the head of maintenance?"
"Hey, yeah, OK, I'll do that..."

Which of course got me wondering...it would appear our Server Room's fire alarm isn't tied into the main building alarm, otherwise their annuciators I would think would trip into trouble.

And about the time I concluded that thought, the night computer operator started laughing hysterically, "Hey Matt, you ever read this red tag on the fire alarm panel?"

You couldn't make this stuff up. First of all....why wasn't a follow-up visit made by the inspector. Second....whose BUTT should be on the line for not correcting the problems? Maybe the insurance carrier would like a copy of the photo?

    Question Yeah, Right...............

So, is it safe to presume that Left Hand is not talking with the Right Hand??

Hey Dal, the guy who owns Boston fire systems lives in Danvers. I was good friends with his daughter in high school and middle school.
