How important are good public relations to the fire and emergency services?? It's so important that the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy's class, PUBLIC RELATIONS FOR THE FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES will be presented at both the Berks County and Montgomery County Fire Academies this fall.
Berks will hold the class on September 18 & 19 at the Berks County Fire Training School. The Montgomery County Fire Academy will present the class at their facility in Conshohocken on October 16 & 17.
Sessions of the class include "Defining and Planning Public Relations", "Building Business Relations", "Writing Effective Press Releases"
"Dealing with the Media" and "Making Audio Visual Presentations". The class is designed to be open with opportunites for interaction and class discussion during the sessions.
Sessions of the class have been presented at the New york State Chiefs' Conference and the FDIC in Indianapolis.
Further information and registration can be obtained from either educational facility.
