I've been a bit lax in the past about firewalls and such, but recently installed spyware, virus and firewall protection on my computer. It has detected 2 trojans on the system, ScoobB,benuti but no clue as how to remove them. Can any of the computer gurus out there give me a hint as to how to do this?

Symantec - Norton - Same site
So it's "scob", not "scoob"? That's why I didn't see it in a search at Norton.comIACOJ Agitator

Wasn't trying to knock you're post, just seconding your statement & providing links...Symantec - Norton - Same site
For flathead, not sure what programs you're using, but Norton Internet Security 2004 does a good job of providing all of those things in one integrated package and includes AntiVirus 2004 that will automatically remove viruses, worms, trojan horses and will also detect spyware, etc.
And if your subscribe to their update service, it will automatically download the latest virus definitions...
Well worth the $69.95 or $99.95 for the professional edition.Last edited by jpsmith2; 07-07-2004 at 11:47 PM.

I tried doing a search at Norton/Symantec, found the benuti but couldn't find "scoobb", so I just posted the general site.IACOJ Agitator

Go to MajorGeeks.com and look for various virus removal programs. They have a large selection of stand alone programs and links right to the programs needed on the larger sites; ie panda, symantec/norton, etc.
