    Post Removing Trojans

I've been a bit lax in the past about firewalls and such, but recently installed spyware, virus and firewall protection on my computer. It has detected 2 trojans on the system, ScoobB,benuti but no clue as how to remove them. Can any of the computer gurus out there give me a hint as to how to do this?

Go to Norton.com and do searches.

Symantec - Norton - Same site

So it's "scob", not "scoob"? That's why I didn't see it in a search at Norton.com

Wasn't trying to knock you're post, just seconding your statement & providing links...

For flathead, not sure what programs you're using, but Norton Internet Security 2004 does a good job of providing all of those things in one integrated package and includes AntiVirus 2004 that will automatically remove viruses, worms, trojan horses and will also detect spyware, etc.

And if your subscribe to their update service, it will automatically download the latest virus definitions...

Well worth the $69.95 or $99.95 for the professional edition.

I know, I was just stating this for those out there in cyberland who didn't know.

I tried doing a search at Norton/Symantec, found the benuti but couldn't find "scoobb", so I just posted the general site.

Go to MajorGeeks.com and look for various virus removal programs. They have a large selection of stand alone programs and links right to the programs needed on the larger sites; ie panda, symantec/norton, etc.
