    Angry Flags still at half-staff?

On July 2 the president issued a proclamation that flags should go up to the top of the pole on July 3. While it was two days short of the standard 30 days, the thought was that they should be at the top for Independence Day. Now, about a week later, I still see flags at half-staff including banks, government buildings and yes fire stations. Will they still be a half-staff when the snow flies?

    Does this bother anyone else?

    Stay safe,

After reading this thread, I had to check when I went to the station tonight. Ours are back at full staff.

I put ours back up on the 6th, when i saw a video clip of the whitehouse on TV, with it's flag at full, but every day, i still see places with it at half, including city offices and even a National Guard Armory.

Yes. It's probably the combination of people being lazy and not caring about that sort of thing.
