    Default CPAT question

I want to take the CPAT test so I have it under my belt. First question.....how long does the cert. last ? Does anybody know a website where I can find someone to contact in my area about taking the test? I seen the website before but now I cant find it You pick the state where you live then the city and it listed people to contact.

    Thx

Not sure about the website, but the cert lasts for a year.

thanks Eric. I seen the website before (I should of saved it). I'm currently a career firefighter but looking for employment at another department and I think the cpat cert would be good to have

How long it is good for might be controlled by the state. In Alabama it is only good for 180 days. As far as how to find out look at your local fire college web site. hope this might help

You might check in with a local fire college, academy or do a search on google to find where.

You may want to get into a process first. The thing I've run into in the MD/VA area is that even though its the same test, other jurisdictions refuse to accept my CPAT test...even though its standardized, they still don't trust their neighbooring jurisdictions. Kinda made me mad, but I guess that is their decision.
