July 8th
-0810hrs - Water/Technical Rescue - Hwy 21 near Hilltop (12 miles east of Boise) = Dive 1, T1, BC1 > Have a report of an auto that has gone off cliff into reservoir. S/C = R7, E8 car is on ledge just above water - Extrication via T1/R7 - pt then lowered to Boat 1 for transport to Life Flight helo.

(next 2 alarms occurred in BLM lands approx 6 miles south of Boise - fire was discovered by units responding to the plane crash - Officially this is no man's land and has no fire protection).

-1805hrs - Plane crash - Pleasant Valley Rd @ R/R tracks = Task Force 7 (BFD ARFF, E7, 8, 12, 3, T6, WT21, BC2 also Br8 & 1 for brush fire) > Have a stunt plane piloted by Micron Computer CEO Steve Appleton that has crashed - Both occupants are alive, S/C = 2 - Life Flight helo's.

-1820hrs - W/F - 20000 S. Pleasant Valley Rd = E3, 8, 7, WT21, Br1, BC1 > Have a car fire that extended to brush and then a SFD M.H. - heavy fire - "All Hands Working" (most units pulled from plane crash that is 1/8 of a mile away).

Fire @ 30 acres on arrival. S/C for E2, Br21, DC83 > Fire held at 75 acres no bldgs lost - companies o/s for 24+ hrs.


July 13th
-1652hrs - MVA/Ext - Fairview @ Orchard (West Boise) = E202, T6, BC2 > 2-auto t-bone w/ 3-pts, S/C for ALS additional units.


July 14th
-1629hrs - Multi-Fatal MVA - Hwy 21 @ Hilltop (13 miles east of Boise) = E22, 12 > Have 2-auto high speed head-on w/ 1-DOA o/s and 3 code RED pt - S/C additional ALS & 2 Life Flight helo's = 1-pt DOA at hosp.


July 16th
-1530hrs - Water Rescue - 1979 Escondido (Kuna FD) = R61, M61, C61 > Have a mother and small child trapped on rock in middle of river (child fell in and mother jumped in after). Rescue via Kuna FD - all OK.


July 17th
-0637hrs - W/F - 4821 Albion St (South Boise) = E8, 6, 5, T6, BC2 > 1-St. SFD w/ fire in the attic - E8, T6 working.


July 19th
-1939hrs - MVA - 1110 Shaw Mountain Rd (East Boise foothills) = E1 o/s w/ 1 auto MVA - S/C for T1 due to extrication and car very close to going off cliff.


July 21st
-0149hrs - 2nd Alarm - 3573 N. Hyacinth Ln (Northwest) = E9, 201, 202, T1, BC1 > Have a 2-stry duplex under construction w/ 1-unit heavily involved = 2nd Alarm = E5, 2, T6, BC2 - "All Hands Working".

-2041hrs - W/F w/ inj's - 13272 W. Foxfire Ct (West Boise) = E10, 4, 21, WT21, T6, BC2 > Have a 1-stry SFD w/ kitchen fire - E10, 4, T6 working - S/C for ALS unit for inj'd civilian & FF.


July 22nd
-0309hrs - Water Rescue - Orchard St. @ Wright St. (South Boise) = Dive 1, E7, T6, BC2 > Have auto into the canal - S/C for E9 w/ divers - car was found to be empty.

-0438hrs - W/F - 2519 N. 31st St. (Northend) = E2, 5, 202, T1, BC1 > Have a fully involved garage w/ extension to SFD = 2nd alarm called but units canceled after rapid KD - "All Hands Working".

-1739hrs - W/F - 6812 Irving Ln (West Boise) = E6, 4, 202, T6, BC2 > Have a small attic and vent fan fire in a 2-stry rowhouse - MOR - E6, 202, T6 working.

-1828hrs - Fatal Tech. Rescue - Hwy 21 @ the Black Cliffs (Southeast Boise) = E12, R7, BC3 > Have a rock that broke loose striking F climber in head (accident witnessed by husband & 7 y/o daughter) - S/C for E1, EMS SOT - Pt is DOA o/s -
Husband also fx'd ankle after he fell 40 ft after accident.

-2041hrs - Water Rescue - end of E. 47th St. @ the Boise River (Garden City FD) = E202, 9, R272, Dive 1, T6, BC1 > Have a juvenile that is stuck on island in river channel - Boat 1 dispatched and recovered pt OK.
