    Question Station Alerting Systems

I'm doing research on various types of station alerting systems. I have read about new systems that are designed to wake sleeping firefighters more "slowly" by using vibrations, modified tones, lights that gradually get brighter, etc. Is anyone familiar with these types of systems? Can you recommend specific makes/models? Thanks.

I've heard of some of those systems, but the way some of the guys on my shift (myself included) sleep, we'd never hear it.

Start with ZETRON. they make a very versatile station alerting system. WESTNET if you have the money to spend, it does everything but gently tap you on the shoulder and whisper in your ear...
A company by the name of COMTECH is also in the market. Good luck
