    Default American Flag

Where is the best place to get a new American Flag to hang off the back of our engine?

We have ours attached to the long hand rail on the right side in the back. Then on our other engine we have them on the mirrors but after one trip on the interstate they are already starting to fray. The back you just need to keep in clean, but its dead air back there so it really doesn't move around to much

38, I think he was looking for where to OBTAIN the flag, not mount it. I would think almost anywhere, Eric. I know we have a flag shop in this area that sells anything and everything regarding flags......

Most of your discount stores (i.e. Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc.) should have them in traditional sizes like 3x5 or 4x6. For bigger or smaller sizes, a flag shop should be able to help you. The company here in my city is Arkansas Flag & Banner.

Call your congressman and he/she can get you a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol. They come in sizes 3x5, 4x6 and 5x8 with a certificate stating that it was flown over the Capitol for such-and-such fire company on this date.

    3x5 Nylon: $17.00
    3x5 Cotton: $17.25
    4x6 Nylon: $21.50
    5x8 Nylon: $26.00
    5x6 Cotton: $29.20

All costs include shipping and flying fees.
