The National Institute for Health has released WISER, the Wireless Information System for Emergency Responders. Currently Palm-based, Windows CE and desktop versions are in development. A stand-alone database of 44 substances can be downloaded to your Palm device. If you have wireless data capability, you can connect to the large database with thousands of substances listed.
