Leave the house and call 911. In that order. Do it now.

This is not a joke or trying to be ***. This is deadly serious. You are in immidiate need of emergency medical attention, NOW. The situation in your house is also one that needs the immidiate attention of the fire department.

Get out of your house NOW and call 911 if you have not already.

I reported the post to the Webteam hoping they can trace the IP and contact the authorities in his area. I just hope this guy got the message and isn't sitting at his computer unconcious right now.

Even the burger-flippers at McDonald's probably have some McWackers.

    Default And...

After calling 9-1-1, I am sure (hope) someone calls the
    gas company.

Side note- If for some reason you need to look for a gas
leak in the pipes, try liquid soap and look for the little
    bubbles.

    Thats what Mini-me told me.

It's kind of late now, but if you suspect you have a gas leaking into your home, it's probably not a good idea to turn on any lights until it's off and well ventilated, same goes for the computer or anything that may cause a spark.

    Good luck.

    Question

If this post was real, I hope this guy/gal did the right thing and called 911. But something seems really fishy here. I know Florida and Virginia might have different cultures... but I'm sure they don't make you check your good sense at the door. The post says he has no idea about gas... but he's talking about blowing the pilot light out. And he had sense enough to go get a CO detector but never thought about calling the gas company? Last time I checked, the yellow pages (where you can find the number to both the gas company and FD) are still in English. I guess what I'm saying here is that this post sounds awfully fishy.
