    Default Binoculars

Sorry, I could not find the archive section to search and I need to get answer fairly soon. What is the most efficient specification for viewing scenes. I had thought it was maybe 7x50 but I was hoping for a more experienced response. Any other features to look for? Any models that have worked well? Got some grant money to burn up. Thanks for any help.

The following link is to a site that gives a good overview to the general selection of binoculars.

Thanks very much for the link. It looks to be that 7x42 might be the best for haz-mat according to this.
