Hello all I am just checking to see who is out there in the bay are that might be able to tell me about the ems companys as well as any fire dept that may be hirring out in the bay area due to the fact I will be moving out there to make the wife happy so sound off all thanks

My advise is do not come!
There are several departments that have laid off ff's in the bay area, and any hiring going on is picking up the laid off brothers first.
If you want to be an ambulance jockey, than go to AMR. They run in every county in the bay area except Solano.

Hey thank you for the information I guess I am gonna go to work for AMR then because the old lady says there is no chice we are gonna move out there but I am seeing all these department hiring like san jose what is up with that I just am confused but hey thanks for the information anyway ???????? Does being a medic matter or not ????????
