I was listening to this fire while at work this morning. The article doesn't mention it but TFRD made several grabs from windows by ground ladder. They also saved the attached buildings with trench cuts.

Fire Guts West Toledo Apartment Building

TOLEDO -- Some west Toledo residents are homeless this morning after a fire gutted their apartment building.

The fire started around 4 a.m. at the Miracle Manor complex on Jamieson, firefighters said. It started in the back of one of the buildings in a laundry room, but right now officials aren't saying what caused the fire. The complex is made up of several buildings.

People were evacuated and at least one person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. There is no word on other injuries at this point.

One building is destroyed and city crews are planning to tear it down.
