To the Family of Jim Page,
Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss.

I was honored to meet Mr. Page in 1996 while attending the University of Maryland's Fire Staff and Command Class. I was thrilled that he elected to join our small group for dinner and spent several hours with us in Fire and EMS conversation. Mr. Page was a warm, friendly man who truly loved his job and life and didn't mind sharing his experiences with total strangers.

While attending the JEMS convention in Cincinnati, I heard a voice call my name. It was Jim Page. I was very surprised that not only had we only met once, but he remembered who I was and our conversation from 3 years earlier. This man was an excellent example of what I wanted to become in my career.

Jim Page's expertise has lead to the development of quality Emergency Medical Services today and he will be greatly missed in the Fire and EMS Community.
