    Exclamation Hurricane Ivan "The Terrible"

All you firefighters and medics along the Gulf Coast keep your heads down. Ivan is coming and he isn't going to play nice. If you're all like me you'll be there for the clean up, so everyone stay safe. You're going to be needed.

Well it looks like its going to miss most of the west coast (at least one misses, huh. ) But it has a long way to go, so who knows what might happen.

Louisiana is prepping for this hurricane and people evecuating the New Orleans area are causing higher than normal traffic volumes on the Interstates here. Many were told to come here to Baton Rouge to wait out the storm but the Hotels are filled and people are being sent further down the highways toward Houston and Shreveport. I get the joy of working at the station Wednesday and Thursday evening when all heck is breaking loose. As bad as I feel for the people in Mississippi or Alabama I'm hoping it turns away from Louisiana soon.
