I would imagine that the volunteer departments are stretched to the limit (both physically and mentally) right now in the SE part of the country. If I wasn’t well over 3000 miles away I know I’d certainly volunteer my services to give these folks a much deserved break.

Man I thought that Flordia had enough with all of these hurricanes but i guess they will be getting smacked even more.. but if you look historicaly next year my actually be worse.
Anyways I hope that everyone is safe and remember that material possesions can be replaced

Luckily, Jeanne is not nearly as strong as the others to-date and probably will not go beyond a Catagory 1 or weaker Catagory 2. God only knows where it is going to go either. This is an overlay of all the computer models run today:

I was just watching the weather and it looks like they are now keeping their eyes on the next stor......Karl.
It's definately not what we want to here. These people can't take anymore of these storms.

As a Californian, I'll take earthquakes any day. At least they only come at 10-20 intervals.
My mom and dad are moving from Massachusetts to Myrtle Beach, SC this weekend. Timing is everything.
