Any of you out there working $/equipment for your dept from Homeland Security grant program?

We are waiting on release of $ for radios/pagers and lights/radios for a 1stResp/Brush truck we are building. Did bids, request, etc in Jan. with $ supposedly to be released/receive gear in March. NOTHING yet. And this is the 2003 budget.

State blames Homeland Security for the delays and then (now) they have to bid every nitnoid thing anyone requested. BS buck passing I think.

So my question is for you in other states. Your state have the 2003 State Homeland Security Grant Program parts I and II (SHSGP 1 & 2) funds/equipment in your hands??
