I am a Chevy/GMC man myself. Some day when the kids move out I might be able to finally get me a 4X4 Chevy Duramax crew cab.
Stay alert and be safe.

Hey, a Ferrari engine doesn't make a Pinto much more than a Pinto! Note the use of a Ford example here too!
The body is probably off a Ford F-350 p/u that was left on the highway somewhere anyhow!!~Kevin

Now you know what you need if you want power
If you're wanting REAL power then you have to go with the Ford Power Stroke Diesel. Like the says goes "I'd rather be Strokin than Cummin, It's all about endurance."

How many Chevy ambulances do you see running around? Most ambulances I see are Ford. Why is that?

Because Ford markets the trucks to ambulance providers. I also hear that there is a warranty issue over the weight loading of the front axle of GM van chassis. How many Chevy ambulances do you see running around? Most ambulances I see are Ford. Why is that?
It doesn't have a whole lot to do with what is better because the vast majority of Ford ambulances I have worked in have a variety of problems, especially the trannys and brakes (it may have something to do with how we drive them but I can't say
).

Geez...
NEVER FORGET- GMC- Got Mechanic Coming.
Ford rules the ambulance scene. They are marketed by Ford,
but they just make a better ambulance/van. Pierce uses Ford
parts. Ford just makes a better product.Last edited by CALFFBOU; 09-22-2004 at 02:45 PM.

Pick ups...
Funny pick up lines-
- I wish you were a door so I could slam you all day.
- Nice legs...What time do they open?
- Do you work for UPS? I thought I saw you checking out my package.
- You've got 206 bones in your body, want one more?
- Can I buy you a drink or do you just want the money?
- I may not be the best looking guy in here, but I'm the only one
talking to you.
- I'm fighting the urge to make you the happiest woman on earth tonight.
- Wanna play army? I'll lay down and you can blow the hell outta me.
- I wish you were a Pony Carousel outside the Superdrug, so I could ride you all day long for a quarter.
- Oh, I'm sorry. I thought that was a braille name tag.
-I 'd really like to see how you look wen I'm naked.
- Is that a ladder in your stockings or the stairway to heaven?
