    Default Interesting Fire Pics

I am a Photo Buff, and after years of resistance, I finally broke down and bought a new Digital Camera last month (6.3 MP - Canon EOS 10D SLR).

I had been shooting only landscapes and new engine shots ( ) for the last few weeks, but last weeks live burn was a good opportunity to experiment a little under difficult lighting conditions.

I was surprised and pleased with the results this camera gave me. Below are a couple of interesting shots that the boys seemed to like.

Anybody else have any cool or interesting fire pics to share with us?

    Default Nice Cam!

That Cannon is one nice Camera! Just picked up an HP 945 at 5.3 mp with 8X optical. Most impressive feature being the digital flash.
This pic was taken using an Olympus 3 mp cam and touched up using some free photo editor...

    Thumbs up

Me and a few guys from horseheads spent a few days together putting out fires for the State Arson Bureau at the New York State Fire Academy. I took the pic and the FF was John Runyan.

Yeah, those are a couple of nice units, umm tandems, umm teams, TRUCKS, that's it.

And Sher, next time your back visiting Calgary, you'll have to stop by for a round on that course. It is now officially 5 years old, and it is in spectacular shape this year. And on a related note, the boys at ALF were considering using that truck shot for the calendar next year. That would be very cool.
