I will be visiting Kauai in November. Looking to meet Firefighters and maybe exchange patches or shirts.

Don't look for much. I think that there may be 3 or 4 stations on the island.
The island is beautiful. You will love it also.

The Garden Isle
Just got back from Kauai this week. Go there often. I agree on what was said above. You can get a T-shirt though. The times I have stopped by a station they weren't too happy to see us. I guess all the FF's on vacation stop by too often. The pay is not great. My Captain Son made more than the Chief.
There is a farmers market everyday on the island somewhere. On Wed Afternoon it is in Kapaa. Watch out for the hellicopter rides. Two crashed recently. The best place to eat on the island is A Pacific Cafe in Kappa. The Hamura Saimin Noodle Stand in Lihue is a slice of life.
Just before you leave, take out half the clothes and take twice as much money. You be just about right.
