Hello all

I am a Sydney lad that is looking at joining the NSW fire brigade sometime in the future and was wondering if anyone can suggest what sort of courses I should look at doing to further my education in this field and also to make myself more appealing to the selection panel when I finally apply?

i know the following course is being run 2352 Public Safety (Firefighting) at either Petersham or richmond Tafe or externally through OTEN. it is getting harder to do training unless you are in a fire service to help you along. you could join your local Rural fire brigade as the training ypou recieve there is also recognised and you can get a feel for if you like the job or not and get practical experence. hope this helps
