From one WOT to another, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JENN!
I know you will have a wonderful day filled with the love and laughter of family and friends. Hopefully without the smoke detector being set off by the efforts of the chefs of the day OR ALLLLLL THOSE CANDLES ON YOUR CAKE!![]()

Well that explains the glow in the sky to the northwest of me. I thought it was a big fire but I must have been candles.

Happy Birthday, Jenn!

Happy Birthday Jenn! Those 19 candles will help you keep warm tonight (come on now, remember the WOT electric blanket ban). Enjoy your day

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I had a GREAT day!!!! My youngest daughter cooked me breakfast (with help and supervision), and made me a whole bunch of wonderful gifts, my oldest daughter cooked me supper and baked & decorated a cake (with help and supervision). Everything was delicious, however I think we all OD'd on sugar as the icing layer was a thick as the cake layers, but what the heck, it was baked with love by my kids and that's all that mattered. My son helped me set some stuff up. I got some beautiful flowers from someone special. A friend of mine took me shopping for some bookshelves I've been wanting and then bought me the matching tv stand cuz it was the last one left. I feel so spoiled. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful, loving people in my life.

Actually everything ran smoothly. Little missy cracked the eggs (I poured the milk), whisked the eggs, stirred them in the frying pan the whole time they were cooking, made and buttered all the toast except the last 2 pieces, made the orange juice (with some help from her sister) and basically did everything except the potatos and mom's eggs, which were done a special way. AN AWESOME JOB!
Then it was cake time, another AWESOME JOB, even if there was a tad too much icing! A group effort this time.
I backed out on helping with dinner, got the teenaged son to help instead LOL. Only thing Jenn's daughter came to me for help with was cutting the potatos after they were peeled. AND WHAT A DINNER! Everything was delicious, and very well presented!
All in all it was a pleasure helping make your day special.
I had to fight not to laugh at cake time when you were being presented with more and more and more and more "presents" from little missy!
