Ditto what everyone else said. great stuff, definately a must see for all members from the newest proby to the most veteran Chief/Ex-chief.

My only wish is that It had been longer, and that I didn't have to listen to it while I was attempting to code using Javascript (I was very unsuccessful at writing the code )

Default Great Job Chief & Firehouse

As SAFD said..."Great way to spend an hour"

While due to time constraints the program was only an hour, it
offered or reinforced alot of information and provided many areas
to take into consideration and think about.

Thanks Chief & Firehouse for making it possible

    Default Close Calls Online

Huge thanks to Chief Goldfeder and Firehouse for presenting this.I receive SO MANY trade publications , I barely get to read 10% of them. Your committment to this kind of online in-service education has sold me that I need to commit to Firehouse as a full subscriber.

By the way, your frank and honest discussion of the Pompey Hill, N.Y. incident was the first completely factual and truthful timeline analysis of that tragedy we have heard-including NIOSH and County District Attorney accounts. We are a neighboring combination department to this incident and our career firefighter/paramedics were close colleagues, brothers and friends with both T.J. and Gino. Another part of that tragedy is we sat in our station fully manned that evening- 5 minutes away - while the IC called mutual aid from 10 departments - some as far away as 10 miles.

Anyway, thanks again Chief and we cannot wait for the next online event.

Thumbs up THANKS for the kind comments and the great response

Thanks so much for all of the very positive comments-and also for all the e-mails as well. Also thanks to the FH.com folks who pulled it off without a hitch. Never gave much thought to doing that kind of seminar from my living room in sweat pants-ya never know....but it worked!
Seriously, it was a pleasure. Additionally, our sincerest appreciation to the various FD's involved, for their information and cooperation-and for them letting us learn from the tragic events that occured to them and their men who gave the supreme sacrifice...so history doesnt get repeated.
    Take Care,

    Chief Goldfeder...

Will the session be archived for those of us who were on duty that day? I had planned on sitting in, but my group had to start putting out the hydrant markers for the upcoming winter season.

Webteam, I just tried to view the program. I checked my system first, passed all tests and viewed the sample test ok.

when I clicked on launch viewer, I received the following...

Session may not exist; Requested format may be wrong or general error.

Should I wait a while longer?
