About LinkBacksI feel kinda' like an *** usin' a forum for firefighters when I, myself, am not one, but I hope one day I can be. My name is Daniel Hunter. I'm a senior in an independent study class in Bruceville-Eddy Texas. In this class we have to do a year long study on a career that we're interested in pursuing. I've always loved firefighters. My grandfather was the fire chief in Houston for 20 some odd years. He was a hero. Just like Most, if not all, firefighters, and I always looked up to him. When the movie Backdraft came out, I watched it everyday for the longest time. I love that movie. Ladder 49 was very good as well. Needless to say, the career I'm studying is Firefighing. My Teacher requires us to have online mentors. They want us to get the E-mail addesses of people who are in the field that we are studying. First off, forget almost everything you saw in "Backdraft"When the movie Backdraft came out, I watched it everyday for the longest time.
Seriously, I'd be glad to help, although I'm not a career firefighter. But maybe a volunteer's perspective would also be useful to you. I'm also an industrial firefighter in the chemical industry, so I could give you some insight there as well. Drop me a PM or e-mail
