Ok I'm usually up on this stuff b/c I know a lot of people in pvt EMS but, I saw an ambulance in Dearborn that I've never seen before. I was at Ford and Southfield when I saw a newer type III with a horozontal navy blue stripe and I could have sworn it said "Rapid Response" on it. Anyone have any info???
Thanks,

Hey firespec,
I believe their a new company in response to and from Oakwood
Hospitals. But, the name "Rapid Response" doesn't ring any bells.

Oakwood is partnered with Community EMS for the company Health link. It started about 8 yrs ago.

Maybe it's a company ambulance at a manufacturing plant?
We just got this one at my full-time employer in Monroe:

Answered my own question
Rumor has it Rapid Response is a company based in New Baltimore that also parks their trucks somewhere in Garden City. Rumor says that it is a company started by one of the guys from Concord and one from United (Became AMR Wayne County in 96)
We'll see how the rumors shake outNever Forget 9-11-01!!!!!!
