Since it most likely will not end up under the LODD section of this site, I think we owe our condolences to the families, friends, firefighters and cops who knew John "Jay" Balchunas.

A Federal Agent and Firefighter for the New Berlin Fire Deptartment, he was shot and killed while under cover and was laid to rest yesterday. I don't know him personally but from all I've heard over the past week he sounded like one heck of a guy. I'm sure he'll be missed by all. God bless him and all who knew him.
