    I liked the original Bloom County a lot better than the new Sunday-only strip Breathed is writing now. Had more bite. Long live Bill!

    The Bloom County characters were always my test names when I wrote mainframe database programs.

    Milo Bloom, Steve Dallas, Portney & Hodgepdoge, Michael Binkley, Opus, and the rest of the gang were my morning required reading!

    I sure do miss those guys!
