On Nov. 13th, 2004, Morrison, MO Vol. Fire Captain Edward G. SCHNAUSS, 54 yoa, died while on duty.

Captain Schnauss was found unconscious and not breathing underneath the fire apparatus that he was working on. He died from an apparent heart attack.

To date, he is the 94th Fire Fighter death reported to USFA.
