For Dave aka hfd66truck...weeks of warm weather so he can get his new house built.
For Bou: a lifetime membership in the Verne Troyer fan club!
For all of us...
Chiefs that don't forget where they came from.
Chiefs who know that throwing a book at a fire will not put it out.
Rookies that actually care about the job and will honor the traditions and rise to the challenges in the future.

"The education of a firefighter and the continued education of a firefighter is what makes "real" firefighters. Continuous skill development is the core of progressive firefighting. We learn by doing and doing it again and again, both on the training ground and the fireground."

Christmahanukwanza gifts
Bou... http://www.tupperware.com.au/dir063/.../pages/parties
AND for Bou... a sense of humor
(I'm gonna guess he's getting me the ability to be original, and cease harrassment paperwork!)
Parasite...
- a gun locker so he can store patrolmen's firearms when they're on His ambulance: http://www.kcsafe.com/Handgun5.htm
- a portable Blood Alcohol Tester, to see if a couple of beers really matter: http://www.alcoholtest.com/intoxsd5.htm
AND for Parasite... some common sense
DennistheMenace... http://www.beveragefactory.com/refri...er/sanyo.shtml
- a Kegerator for the Fire Station because drinking actually helps experienced drivers operate vehicles
and last but CERTAINLY not least...
GeorgeWendtCFI...
http://popularmechanics.com/home_imp...ookcase_build/
- I imagine he is going to need a dedicated bookcase (or two or ten) for his "The Fire Service's Own Worst Enemy" series, and I figured he'd take pride in building it himself (plus I'm a cheapskate -- so he's just getting instructions!) I think it would look nice trimmed in cherry, GW. hehe
On second thought...
I'll just go along with the Cap and wish for a year free from IOD's and LODD's as well.Last edited by Resq14; 12-20-2004 at 06:27 PM.

For my NW Ohio Brothers...
A working mini-pumper and a new station to put it in for Firenresq77, PFD109NFD107, NFD159 and Fire40man.
A budget windfall for his city so Weruj1 doesn't have to worry about his Asst. Chief job being cut.
And finally a cattle prod for WTFDChief730 so he can keep my fat ***** motivated to finally get in better shape!
Merry Christmas my friends!FTM-PTB-DTRT

"I have a dream. It's not a big dream, it's just a little dream. My dream — and I hope you don't find this too crazy — is that I would like the people of this community to feel that if, God forbid, there were a fire, calling the fire department would actually be a wise thing to do. You can't have people, if their houses are burning down, saying, 'Whatever you do, don't call the fire department!' That would be bad."

Among the many requests is this:
1 Fat Lady, must be able to sing
1 Prison Cell in New York
1 Former attorney and tough guy...to occupy that cell, while the fat lady sings.

Hmmm, for us UK firefighters...
Leather helmets (they DO seem popular round here).
Lights for our POV's (now that would go down like a broken lift).
Red lights instead of blue for the trucks (unlikely but you never know).
Merry Christmas everyoneUnited Kingdom branch, IACOJ.

The New Crown!
For Bou a Crown RC 3000!!!!!
It has an open cab. Only one blinking light to keep the wacker factor low (wacker factor, that's funny)! It's not red or blue just amber. They are great for aerial operations. I guess you could use the forks for venting, especially on those pesky attic vents. I know where there are some painted red in Albuquerque. Shipping one to you is expensive. The number of battery changes alone is mind-boggling.
Ha Ha Ha.
Ho Ho Ho.
Couldn't resist.......
They are fun to drive but probably not suitable for firefighting. My partner at work did demonstrate their effectivness for destroying fire sprinkler heads in a large storage freezer. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!
