    Default Chicago FD Ride Along

    Does anyone work for CFD or know the policy for ride-alongs there? I oringally lived in Chicago but moved here years ago and visit chicago a few times a year and would love to spend a tour with some of the best ff's in the country.

    The last time I looked into it you had to be a career FF and acquire a letter from your chief verifying such and giving you permission to do so. Probably all liabilty issues I'm sure.

    It would help to gain an acquaintance with an officer (any rank). They can help you with the red tape.
