    Uhh. Ok.

So easily amused by a very poor quality video of blinking lights.

Ok...after I came to from the siezure that clip gave me....I pondered your statement about that being the coolest thing you have ever seem.....and came to the conclusion that you have never seen the bare female form....which I might add is the COOLEST thing I have ever seen...nothing has or will ever top that. I also concluded that if you get excited by flashing lights and sirens...you will never get to see the bare female form....My God Son...WTF were you thinking.....

"Departure from the 2004 Apple Blossom Parade Awards Ceremony"

Looked around their website and found it. Another excuse to "play fireman" (as my mom used to phrase it)...

I'd hate to have to wash off all that dust afterwards.

You know, I'd wonder if the WT would set up a forum for male firefighter seeking female firefighter and so forth. Dating forums would be cool, D'OH I'm married. Nevermind.

when i first saw the clip, it looked like a night time parade. nice and flashy, but far from the coolest thing I've ever seen. now the bare female form, that is definately a much better sight to see..... but even better is the bare female form wearing nothing but a pair of bunker pants......

YOU, Madam, may prefer the male form, I have a hunch that Vinnie doesn't....

BTW, Departing a Parade, in that manner, after the awards are given out, is kinda normal in these parts.

    Exclamation

This is the caption that goes with the video:

April 30, 2004 - HazMat Support 501 participated in the Firefighter's Parade at the 77th annual Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival in Winchester Virginia. With over 150 fire and rescue units, the parade is one of, if not the largest firefighter parades in the country. The parade itself is a silent one, no sirens or horns allowed. HMS501 entered the apparatus judging and won first place in the “Fire Department Heavy Rescue” category. The awards are presented later that night at Round Hill Community Volunteer Fire Department in Frederick County VA. Since no sirens are allowed at the parade, after the awards ceremony, a traditional “let it loose” exit is performed by the apparatus at the ceremony. If you like bright lights and loud sirens, watch the videos. Beware, they are LOUD. A big thanks goes out to the volunteers at Round Hill Community VFD for hosting the awards ceremony, again.

My agency issued a specific directive, forbidding us from using sirens in parades...unless we need to break ranks for an emergency. Does the Apple Blossom Award qualify as an emergency?
