Dont really know where to put this but I am needing help on finding books for next semester.
The books are:
The Industrial Fire Protection Handbook by Schroll the 2nd Edition
and
Fire Service Instructor bye INFST
If anyone knows a website or place to get the books from that would ship them to me for a decent price I would appreciate it.
Thanks again,
Daniel

I'm gonna assume that the latter of those books is by IFSTA, not "INFST."
That said, I've had good fortune in buying from www.firebooks.com. They don't seem to have the first book you mentioned, but you can get FSI (6th ed) for $30. Give the site a peek and see if that's the title you're looking for.

This is a pretty good site for any type of emergency service job/education. I get my text books for all of my fire science classes here. There prices are much pretty good too, much less than the crook store (as we've all come to call it on campus). Good luck!

Books
I used some of the books you ask about while I was attending college. You can find both new and used at a very cheap price through amazon.com
Thanks

I have already gone through 2 semisters of buying books for my g/f in her paramedic program.
My suggestion to you is to get the ISBN number from the book(s) you need and then go to http://froogle.google.com and search for them there.
I managed to save roughly $50 off of book store prices (including shipping) on her first semister alone.
I used www.superbookdeals.com for a lot of her books, but I'm going to take a look at www.emergencybooks.com next time she needs books.
The Industrial Fire Protection Handbook 2nd Ed (ISBN: 1587160587)
SuperBookDeals - $94.95
firebooks - No Results
emergencybookstore - $80.96
Fire Service Instructor bye INFST
Only thing I could find close to this was
IFSTA Fire & Emergency Services Instructor 6th Ed. (ISBN 0879391677)
SuperBookDeals - No Results
firebooks - $30
emergencybookstore - $27.00
Best of luck in schoolLast edited by N2DFire; 01-03-2005 at 12:50 PM.
