    Default X2G Gauntlet Gloves

Hello, I am interested with anyones experiences with X2G Gauntlet Gloves. I tried searching the forums but came up empty handed. The gloves my department issued me have become rather stiff and hard to put on. I'm looking something with more comfort and dexterity.

    Thanks,
    Bobble7

    hi bobble7 -

don't know about the -- but I just bought a pair of gloves almost the same by fire-dex. same elk skin back, but palms are cow skin, though, instead of pig skin - i'm told cow is less slippery when wet. LOVE THEM!

Hey, thanks for the reply. Do you think you could send me a link to where you got them from or maybe the products name? If so that would be great a great help

here's the fire-dex link -- so you can see them -- i also saw them in Firehouse magazine this month.

    http://www.firedex.com/products/fire...oves/index.htm

i got them from a co. called fire safety services here in Ohio -- but i'm sure there's somewhere out by you that can get them for you. call or email fire-dex -- they can help you out, i bet.

good luck and i hope you like them as much as i do!!

I have two pair of American Firewear Eclipse gloves and I love them. They are sold by Darley fire equipment. I have had them wet and dirty many times and they always return to original form.
    Hope this helps.

I've been wearing the X2s for about 8 months now, and I love them. They are not stiff, and therefor do not restrict movement at all. They have been great in the few fires that I've been in...had them soaking wet and couldnt feel it on the inside. Good luck.
