I want to thank everyone that Is already in Iraq for providing us with some insight on the happenings and conditions. I am reporting to Houston on the 24th of January and would like to talk with anyone else going at that time. You can email me at chadley30@hotmail.com. Also the best I can tell from reading all the other threads is that the general consensus on what to take is:
Tan BDU's
Gray T-shirts
Desert Boots
Some winter weather gear, gloves, sweatshirt, coat, etc
Running Shoes and PT gear
Personal hygene items
couple sets of regular clothes?
Sunglasses
Hat
Phone cards
Adapters(electrical)

Anything else you think I would need would be most helpful.
