    Default back problem

im 20 and ive always wanted to be a firefighter sor the forestry service, BUT i have kyphosis, which is minor stages of scoliosis(spelling may be incorrect) what this is pretty much a slight curviture in the spine.
Now my problem is that i cannot lift weights or gain muscle without my backhurting and im worried that i will have to stop doing so. i am wondering if there are jobs within the forest service that i can get without having to do any strenuous activity.

I suspect any agency is going to want a physician's opinion before they hire you. Aside from that, there are jobs/assignments that you may be suitable for...away from the front lines. Dispatch, radio operator, logistics & finance operations. It will be up to you and your physician to determine what you can..and can not do. Check this list...and scout the possibilities.
