Well Sister Aerial back in 1993 I discovered that I had the same problem. I have the same passion as Wildman does in that we take part in the Firefighters Combat Challenge. It was in the middle of the victum rescue that I experienced, what I found out later to be, mask induced panic. Doing the everyday stuff did not bother me at all. It would only happen when my pulse was severly elevated, like working real hard. The information that I found was to increase your aerobic capacity. I did that and havee not a had a problem since.
