Default Looking for photo of rare fire apparatus

I am in search of a photo of a 1927 Sanford Fire Engine. The museum for the company had photos of every year, except 1927. What's the chances of that...

Our historian, a fire chief from the 1930's; was one of the first to start monthly fire schools in the "Five County Fireman's Assoc." in Northern Pennsylvania. He is such an interesting man to talk to; he related a story recently when our new ALF Ladder truck was delivered. He climbed the very first motorized 129' ALF Ladder truck ever built. The one that wasn't sold to departments... It seems after he climbed down, they laddered a building, and the slight touch to the facade made the ladder collapse. That would have been good to know before it was put in service.

Anyhoo, he has searched for 20 years to find a photo; utilizing every effort possible. So I thought maybe someone on here would maybe have a photo-or know where to find one.

    Thanx. blue

Contact the NYS Fireman's Musuem in Hudson, NY. They have restored a Sanford though I am not sure of the year, but it's about that same period. They may be able to help ya.
