    At 11:30am the Sturtevant Fire department was
    dispatched to a "report of smoke from a Furnace", at
    Intermet Manufacturing. Sturtevant Quint 155 reported
    nothing showing upon arrival. When inside they found a
    furnace with smoke, fire and molten metal. Sturtevent
    requested Mutual aid from Mt. Pleasant immediately.
    Mt. Pleasant responded and called for MABAS Box 10.
    Upon arrival found heavy smoke from the building.
    Company's made a quick knockdown of the fire, and
    vented the smoke. Box 10was stuck out at 1:30pm. The
    furnace was completely destroyed in the fire.
