going rate for pumper/tanker

hey all just wondering when asking fema for a new pumper/ tanker what is the amount dollar they will accept. we're going to try for one this year. since we are on our last truck.. just had to put our 67' out of service and it's bad...

It depends on the configuration and your justification of the specs. Plain Class A commercial chassis was around $160K. Custom chassis was capped at matching funds of $225K. Of course if it's a rescue-pumper, CAFS pumper or something along those lines, they'll give you more money.
